I know the feeling - I went for the record on the last card - I think I used seven of my own stamps and one image that somebody else was kind enough to stamp for me!

That quite possibly makes it the most expensive card I've ever made!

Actually that's not funny at all.

    Fab cards Jayne

I've been using light peach as well - looks more 'natural' then any other colour I've tried!

She did - she loved it and I know her, she won't throw it away (I try not to think about that happening to my cards!), she'll treasure it.

She doesn't do anything remotely crafty herself and is so lovely about everything that I make for her and is such a wonderful friend that she is well worth the effort.

It nice to know when they are appreciated. I made one for a non crafty friend for her 30th birthday at the weekend - really don't know if she will have liked it or not.

I have touched the cheeks with a bit of red which looks quite good.

Hope to be able to post a card or 2 to show you soon! x
I use watercolour paints - I use a sandy beigy colour (cant recall the actual names of the paint blocks) mixed with a tiny bit of red to make a fleshy colour - and yes - well watered down to make it pale enough - but dab a bit of colour on - dab your brush onto kitchen roll and then spread out the paint on the image with the slightly dryer brush - then add a deeper tint for the cheeks and shading. HTH

Remember - with water colour paints it is slightly different to prismas etc - you dont add dark colour and then tone down - you should start with pale colour and build up

I bought a cheap set of watercolour pencils in WHSmiths - and it has the perfect flesh coloured pencil in there that I use.

Fabby cards just adore the baby ones and Jayne your card is beautiful.

I'm the same never have enough time for my cardmaking.

I've got Derwent crayons (36 set though have bought a few extra) and use have a flesh colour in there which is perfect for the face and hands.

LadyJayne, Fantastic card! I'd better get a move on making some. She's wonderful not to throw your cards - mine ask me why I make the trouble when they'll end up in the trash
