Sympathy/Bereavement Cards and Toppers

Here is my addition to the challenge.

The font used was Michelle. I used the pen and then hand filled in the gaps.

I used one of Penny Duncans' crosses (in the useful sites section of the templates) - so I did not include it in my file. I also used the pen on the
cross.

The spot between the leaves looks nice with the cross but could also
hold a flower.

This was a great challenge. I often find myself looking in the template
section for a sympathy card because they are difficult to design - especially
at the time of loss. We have gained some beautiful files.

This Iris seemed perfect for a Sympathy Card.
They are always so difficult to create - especially at the time of need.
So.... maybe this one can be there for someone to use.

The font I used is Monotype Corsiva

We all need something special to send when we lose those precious people around us and I think this would be kept forever..It's quite simple but stunning, adorned once again with lattice.. Could also be used for Christenings, Confirmations and even Christmas if you take out the Sympathy Sentiment...

Sadly my dear sister lost her long and hard fought battle at the end of last month and we are bereft. This is the card I designed to give to her husband and children. I have incorporated one of my previous designs - the rose window and two doves so that I could make it large enough to fit on an A5 card. Sorry about the quality of the photo - I used muted colours and it doesn't show up too well.
