    Is this right?

Im in the middle of uploading some photos on Photobox to order prints. This is the first time I've done it and am wondering if I'm doing something wrong. How long does it take to upload them? It's been gopoing for about an hour and has only uploaded 16 out of 63 photos and is saying that the time remaining is over 4 hours!! Is this normal?

Sorry if I sound thick but I'll be here all day at this rate!!!

If you have a slow internet connection then yes its normal! also if the files are large then it takes a long time.

i found with the photos from DH's camera that they were really big files (8MP each photo), so took ages to download! I've been known to leave the puter and do something else

Thanks, we're off out to the park. I'll just leave them to it. Our camera is a canon SLR so the files are very big. As long as there isn't anything I'm doing wrong that's the main thing.

Hi, I have all my photos put into Picasa then when I want to order them I put them into Photobox it does not take too long.
Is that how you do yours?

I usually resize mine using either Irfanview or picture manager, but I've uploaded some today without resizing and found it particularly slow....it has just taken me most of the day to get mine uploaded.
