    ha ha Buying from USA

    Hi there
I am quite new to this site, but I am learning from you all very fast. I was curious when you have been chatting about buying from USA. So I have spent ages looking at the prices and wow you are all right everything seems much cheaper. I looked on the QVC site, but wondered about shipping costs. I am sure some of you experienced scrappers will know?

the postage prices of usps have gone up a lot when they changed their system so if you are looking at buying papers then its not really worth it as they can be heavy (in quantity). It can be useful however for cartridges for the various cutting machines. but remember if you get caught for custom charges then it can even work out more expensive than here. The SB companies are better with their shipping now so that sponsors on here have the new goods at much the same time as the US so its often quicker to buy from them.

no point looking at their QVC either -- they won't ship international, and only accept credit cards registered to a US address.......

I am currently waiting on a nice little order form the US. As long as your order is not over £18 then you shouldnt get charged customs tax. Dont order paper as it makes delivery expensive. I usually order sets of clear stamps (what I am waiting on just now )

    happy shopping

meant to add - shipping is usually about £10 unless they can fit it into one of the $10 packages ( about A4 size ) so its a good idea not to order anyhting bulky

really depends on what you order though
