They originally said last year when it was first shown that it would be around the £60 mark !!! They've certainly crept up in (expected) price !!!

I should get a good idea on pricing tomorrow

I could hear nothing but then my computer has decided to play in silent mode today. Another new gadget at the Hermitage MJ?

Happy scrapping in Hampshire
Wow - it looks like a fab gadget. Being able to position it anywhere on the cardstock to create shaped 'windows' on a LO would be great... I wonder if I could persuade school to buy one for cutting titles for displays?!

We went for the sneak preview of The Slice yesterday afternoon. Shipping date is July, the facility to use your own designs will be coming in 'Phase 2', it is apparently very low voltage and they will be offering an alternative unit to Europe. The price is confirmed at $149.99 retail and there are five Design Cards initially available at $39.99 (including the one that comes with the tool). The unit comes with a small glass mat, a small tin of spray adhesive and two 'widgets', one for removing the blade and another for adjusting the blade. There are 8 cutting sizes with the largest cut size being 4" and the smallest 1".

thanks for the info Emma, will the Europe version be ready by July then??

For those that crop outside their home it's great but a bit expensive for what it offers. I guess it will mostly compete with the Cricut. I think I'll stick with my Silhouette.

Less is more, unless more is more!
I'm getting tempted by this.....anyone want to buy a rarely used Cricut plus 4 cartridges!!!??
