I've got some papers from laura Ashley, bought them a few years ago, can't remember where. Definately typical LA and akin to Anna Griffin, the stuff AG used to do that is floral etc.
Always wondered why they never seemed to reach our shores though so much of the nicest stuff doesn't.

on a stash diet.....indefinately!!
It was popular in the US a few years back but just seemed to fizzle out over there. Maybe they are trying the market again?? It was all flowers and vellum envelopes back then

I used some LA papers at a PaperArts crop a good few years back. Was a lovely class, great papers and it's still one of my favourite LOs.

The very first papers I bought were Laura Ashley! I got an album and then saw the papers and embellies when I was in New York three years ago. I fell in love with the album - it's a pale blue and white cloth cover, and it's typical LA patterns - clean checks and tiny florals. The papers are sublime, and much nicer than Anna Griffin - IMO. I've bought some from Ebay in the past, but never seen them anywhere else in this country.

Bazzill Fiend
The Laura Ashley line was made by EK Success, but they didn't have the license to sell it in the UK, which is why very few retailers stocked it. I seem to remember the amount LA wanted for a UK/European license was in excess of £1M.

Isn't that a ridiculous amount of money for a UK company to market their goods in their own country, whoever was manufacturing them on their behalf.

A GOG original
I got some 4 years ago and have yet to use most of it. I've used buttons and the vellum envelopes on CJs and 8x8 LOs. It's not a fashionable paper but great for older style LOs and brighter heritage; it suits some baby LOs too. The quality is lovely.

I've seen it advertised not sure when it's due in the UK but we will more than likely be stocking it
