    Scalloped edges - large scallop[s

    Hello

I ikeep seeing lovely cards with scalloped edges that are quite large scallops. I have a Fiskars pair of scissors and it's nice but not as large size scallops as I want. I've looked at the rotary trimmer blade as I have the trimmer but it looks to produce the same size.

Has anyone any idea what i need to produce large scalloped edges please? Hope I've explained myself enough.

    Thanks.

I use the EK Success corner rounder, just remove the wings and turn the punch upside down, position along the edge you want to scallop and punch away. Turning it upside down allows you to position the punch alongside the previous scallop you have just punched.

If all else fails, I use my Robo

I think maybe you are looking at cards made with nestabilities. The scallops are larger than those made by scissors.

    Are they like these?

You need a die cutting machine to use them, have a look on the thread about nestabilities from the US and check out the spellbinders website.
I don't know if this link will work but this might give you the idea.

I sometimes just make my own by adhering punched circles behind the card - if that makes sense ?

Jo what a fab idea! I thought I was doomed as no die cutting machine! You are amazing to think of that! Do you punch the circles or just even with a pair of compass's (Sure they're a pair!)?

Thanks..Ok..takes a bit of time but worth it for the effect. Gold star for being so clever!! Your cards are lovely by the way. Now i want scalloped edges AND cards as nice as yours..

Fab cards Jo - as usual

Also, just to say if you don't have a circle punch (or have one on order!) you can use a coin to draw circles and cut out - a bit manual/time consuming but will do the job until your punch arrives!
