Not a lot of stuff there though - few papers and embellies, but not much else. Lots and lots of stamps upstairs, as the name suggests, but not sure it was worth the trip, if I'm honest.

Whenever I'm on London I visit Blade Rubber Stamps, it's central and walkable distance from the West End. It is mostly stamps ( great for me!) but they have a lot of other bits and pieces. I think it's worth a visit if you are desperate to do some shopping while your in London!

I live in London and never bother with Blade unless I want something that is stamping related. Their scrapbooking stock has to be about 10 years old its very disappointing. Mind you if you are going to the British Museum its worth popping into otherwise I wouldn't make a special journey to see it!!

You won't be dissapointed if you can find the time to visit Artbase. They are in Horchurch, which can be easily reached from Central London.

By rail from Central London - Liverpool Street Station: From Liverpool Street Station (First Great Eastern) take a train to Romford Station. At Romford change platforms and take the branch line train to Emerson Park Station (this line has only three stops, Romford, Emerson Park & Upminster). Exit Emerson Park Station and turn left into North Street, where a parade of shops starts, we are the last shop in this parade on the left hand side.
By London Underground from Central London: Take District Line (green!), eastbound to Hornchurch. From Hornchurch Station we are a short taxi or bus ride. If taking the bus (No. 165) ask the driver to drop you off at the stop immediately after the Queens Theatre as the stop is immediately opposite our store.
There is also a scrapbook store in Upminster, which is as easily reachable as Artbase, can't mention names as they are non-sponsors.

Love to craft.
There really is not much here. There are a few Craft Centrals in garden centres and there is a Scrapbooking shop not far from me in Edgware. I go there only when I really need something cos it's expensive.
