    Retirement card for teacher

My best friend will turn 60 this week and retires from her job as teacher. THIS will give her lots of time to scrap and knit and I made her this card.

Blackboard reads "Last day of school" and 30 + 30 = TIME

HOPE she likes it - I had lots of fun making it.

I use watercolour pencils but jeans are coloured with faded jeans ink pad.

    Thanks for looking

I was using Versacolour when I actually went and checked! I'll look for some Versafine - thank you!

Wow stunning cards, I really must buy some more of these - just have to wait patiently for Bryony and Karen's orders to arrive.

Marlene that is awesome!!!! What beautiful colours and papers.

I just might have to have a go at a buckle card myself - don't think it will end up looking anything like yours - off to have have a look at your instructions!

    GREAT idea Marlene..

... thanks for sharing the buckle link. Even without the fancy punch I think I can work out a way to try this.

AND your card is lovely - I really like the circle of flowers - some on layer 1 and some on layer 2 and buckle - CLEVER.
