Please can anyone help. I have completely lost my card making mojo. I need to make a 60th for DSs grandma. Fancy some bling and swirls but just not sure how. Have to make it this weekend. Thanks

    Hi,

I've just made a 60th card for my husband. I know it is difficult to work a '60' into the design - so I did an A5 size card with a design of champagne bottle (template off the Craft Robo forum) with bubbles and fizz and cork flying and a Happy Birthday sentiment. Then for the 60 I used an acetate wrapper with a 60 cut out for the front. I outlined the 60 in stickles. The overall effect was just what I wanted.

If I ever get to find the camera I'll post a pic !!

    Hi Ali

Me again, I've just found the camera.

Here is the card - hope its of some help.

what I was trying to say is that you can do whatever design you wanted - girly - swirly - flowery - whatever, then the sixty can be brought in by the acetate cover.
