isn't that the point of Easter?! When did people start giving anything BUT chocolate? If anyone has too much feel free to send it my way as noone in my family bothers with Easter so I never get any!
Tesco have a set of 3 medium sized kilner jars ( neck seal, clip closure, I think this is kilner, correct me if wrong though ) for £3.
Failing that I bough 100g jar of Houwe Egberts ( sp ) coffee which also has a nice jar though not as big for £1,37 ( on offer )
Just incase you are goning to start searching for containers.

what i was thinking too that with the cost of easter eggs being down to £1 now then its cheaper to buy them than making something as impretty sure that the children in the family wont appreciate my efforts i just they did as i love making stuff but i find they dont appreciate it
Thanks Sarah and Cal. Loving the ideas and inspiration already although am having problems re-sizing the fry box template. Can't quite get it to fit onto an A4 sheet! LOL!
My daughter was very ill when she was little and the hospital advised "no chocolate" at Easter and Christmas so people were told if they really, really wanted to give her something, could it NOT be chocolate. I think these ideas are great.
She still has a little crocheted basket an elderly friend did with an Easter chick on it that had nice socks in. Some kids do appreciate when someone's made an effort to make them something.
