Hi everyone my first post here great site learning lots.. I have only had my robo a week so i am very new to all this and just getting to grips with the robo master software. This is the first thing i have done, the thing i think lets it down is the font. I'm not able to weld words yet but if anyone is after a 18/21st key I'm sure they can fix it ..
Hi, hope this works, I've just finished my first template using design master, must admit that I sort of copied the layout from a Merry Xmas on here think it was by Etui22. Hope she doesn't mind.
Had a bit of a problem cutting the silver card think it was too thick but I did 3cuts and it worked OK. Hope you like it.
Chris
PS...I forgot to edit this before I uploaded it, as I was trying to cut particularly thick card and my Robo couldn't cope, you will find that there are 3 different coloured duplicates for the words, don't know how to change the attachment so if you only need to cut it once you may want to delete the the extra duplicates or adjust the cutting colours, hope you know what I mean
Chris
I have just made this for a friend who needs to make a 21st card. I have cut it but will just give her the bits to put together herself. It makes a 5 inch square card but can be resized.
Although not a new CR owner it has taken me ages to pluck up the courage to actually make something of my own. Having got the hang of welded words and mats and various shapes and dingbat conversions, I have finally woeked out how to create platform cards.
This is a simple 18th, which I have had commissioned for a nephew who plays rugby. Unfortunately the picture of my finished card is a scan and doesn'y actually show it off at its best.
I'd like to say thank you to all the great CR designers on this site for giving me tips and the courage to actually start making my own creations.
Here is the 18th birthday card. Its an A5 card but I haven't put the aperture dead centre as I was going to put the girls name to the left but changed my mind as it was too busy. The key is part of the aperture, then there are two gold mirriboard layers, one is slightly smaller at the key end, then the 18 was done in Silver mirriboard. I got some 3d embossing liquid and put swirls over the gold to make it look a bit fancy and coated the silver and then embedded clear seedbeads in it. The scallopped heart frame needs to be cut separately. Sentiments were done with the pen tool using "Lucida Calligraphy" & Happy Birthday Is done using "Rockwell"
Designed in RM5.1 so it'll need to go thru Brians converter if you can't open it.
