Hi all,

Not been on here for ages. Was away in the Uk and returned to chaos. We have had the painters in to do the exterior walls. All the woodwork is our/my job. Every day has been spent stripping, sanding, sealing, under coating and glossing. TOOOOO many shutters and french windows.

Had to stop and go down to the dungeon for a break and make a Father's Day card.

Nothing fancy, would work for birthdayas well. Sorry, no photo as I had to post it as soon as it was finished.

Hope someone can use it.

Father's Day here in the UK on the 20th June this year.. I have designed this in Inkscape and exported as a bitmap and retraced in robo master to cut on craft robo.

No part of this design has been traced from any football clubs logo I have designed from shapes in inkscape so while it may be similar it's not a direct copy.

The fronts of the doors have thread holes so you can thread your teams colours through and you can also change the logo should you wish to do so by taking out the middle which will leave you just the shield shape.

I have cut from White perfumed card 200 gsm and the shirts and logo from red hammer card 250gsm. football embellishments were an extra I added later..

I've made a template of various garden tools which I drew myself rather than trying to autotrace clipart. It's my first attempt at this so they're pretty simple. There's also a shape which I cut from patterned paper and adhered to the front of a pre-bought card blank (see the picture below), it isn't meant to be an edge card.

I hope the photo helps explain it better! There are 2 versions: one for a 15cm square card (as per photo) and one A6 size which I haven't cut but I think it should be ok.

I thought I'd post it now in case it's useful to someone else struggling to come up with Father's Day ideas for the men in their life!

Probably a bit late for Father's Day but could be used for Birthdays I think.
