Why is it rude? I thought it was a nicely written notice and they haven't waited right until the last moment when some of us would have lost money on flights. Shame really. Now which retreat shall I go on instead?

I hope paypal refunds will be properly made so we don't pay fees for recieving the refund.

I have lost money on flights i paid just under £60 and i know another N.I. girl paid for her flights too I just wish they let us know before the flights went live for May which was only a coupld of weeks ago

I was reading the smack blog a while ago, and everyone on there said it would be cancelled, so I didn't bother booking, so looks like everyone was right, even if it is a smack blog..... think certain peoples ears will be burning with what will be written there now!!

You should all goon Scrappers Paradise instead - it's the most amazing retreat and Dyan from Blonde Moments / Art From The Heart is doing some of the classes - she's brilliant!

I'm very sorry for Sharon and others who have lost money on flights, that is more than a shame. I was fortunate in that the flight times weren't yet available.

if they have cancelled they should refund any losses however if you have travel insurance this should cover it

I cany believe they have pulled the lipstick forum so quick. I must admit i did start to wonder when there was the discussion on the extra class kits and the fact that we wouldnt have to book classes anymore as everyone did everything (made me think that numbers hadnt been reached)

sorry to drop in - but Im another that cant recommend ATDML enough - its was a fabulous retreat - the scrapping and the company was fab *waves to Sue*

It was non refundable because it was a special price. I've just tried to cancel it, but no go!

I use the travel lodge special deals all the time, they are such good value, got 2 £15 rooms booked for tomorrow and friday night as we are at a wedding in Surrey - when you book you have to tick the 'insurance' option and pay an extra £1 on top of the room bill and then you are then covered for a cancellation - otherwise they don't refund the cheap rooms as they are pay on booking only. They *might* be transferable though? Ive not actually looked into that - although i have an idea they probably aren't because of the special prices.

Hope you can get something back through your credit card insurance those who have lost out
