Great cards Margaret and fab blog. Kirsten's creations are sooo sweet, I have left a comment for her. I love the way she has created her own backgrounds as well, I forgot to say that in my comment.

Never look down on anyone unless you are helping them up.
Okay I have now plucked up the courage to post on this thread. After seeing Carmen's cards at SAG I now have 4 Sugar Nellies and 1 Magnolia. I am teaching myself to stamp and colour but no way can I reach the standard of you clever people. I just love all of your cards. I made my very first cards for a Christmas swap and now I am really kean to make more.
Wish there was a crop or classes near where I live.

Hello!!
Mary I've just discovered it really depends on the quality fo your colouring pencils/pens. I was getting some so-so results with my whispas stamping pens but then bought myself some intense water colouring pencils for my birthday (ie some quality ones not the cheap ones I got years ago from the pound shop). The results are stunning compared to what I achieved before!

Mammy Hen - did you used to live in Whickham?
I'd reccomend Derwent watercolour pencils, that is what I use and I do believe the big tin is on offer at the moment in Hobbcraft

I'm a Crumblie
Mammy Hen I am in Poole and I think there is a real lack of crafty stuff in Dorset. There is a shop that I have been to in Winton for a class on glitter butterflies but I think they mainly do scrap booking stuff but it is pretty small and was really just a social thing. Perhaps it is bit far out for you but if you want the details, pm me and I will let you know.
I love the bead shops in Shaftesbury!!! My dh dreads going there!!!

I would also recommend Derwent watercolours I got the wooden box of 72 for £39.99 in hobbycraft should have been £92.00.
