Die cut letters on cards
What's the best way of sticking die cut letters onto cards and scrapbook LOs? At the minute I'm using a glue pen but its dead fiddly - does anyone have any better ideas?

I have cut them from adhesive backed cardstock
Bazzill do one, and DCWV and I got a mixed pack from Sizzix
this is great for me as the tiny letters are a real pain to glue down

Is that called the sticker maker?

Yes that's the one, a Xyron 150 sticker maker. it's really great for anything little and fiddly, although I do like my fine glue pen too.

how about putting double sided tape on your card/paper first then cutting letters or is that a big NO no

Here's how I do it:
1. Cut your letters in normal paper/cardstock
2. Arrange your letters either onto a cutting mat to line up and centre on the cutting guide lines, or put them directly onto your card or layout and position them where you want them stuck.
3. Get a strip of repostionable Scotch Magic Tape (the sort that is _EASILY_ removable and you can use for securing brass embossing templates onto card while you are embossing. Make sure you get the right kind!) Make sure the tape is an inch or so longer each side than the arranged letters, hover carefully over the letters, then lower the tape onto the all together and smooth the tape gently to make sure they're all stuck.
4. Peel the tape off carefully and the letters should come off with it.
5. Using a suitably thin tipped repositionable glue pen (I thoroughly recommend Sakura Quickie Glue pen) glue all the letters on the back and let the glue dry.
6. When dry, flip the tape with the letters on it over and put back into place on your LO or card. Press the letters on firmly (I use the back of a fingernail) so the glue sticks and _carefully_ peel off the magic tape. If the glue is still wet, you have to be a little more careful peeling off the tape, but it is possible.
If I'm sticking chipboard, I use the same technique, but my preferred adhesive is Art Institute dries clear for a stronger grip.

My prefered method is the Art Institute glue as well, the fine nib is great for the smallest of letters and you only need a tiny bit for a very strong bond.

Thanks for the tips. I'll try these suggestions - anything's got to be better than what I'm doing now. It takes forever with little letters!

I always use a glue pen.... maybe that is why it takes me so long.... lol Tried the xyron 150 - create a sticker, but found that with small letters you can still see the glue in the middle of O's or A's or anywhere there is a circle and it takes me just as long getting rid of it.

I agree with the Art Institute glue. I have used this for the tiniest of pieces of card and letters and can't recommend it highly enough.
