For in exactly 4 months time we will be celebrating Christmas Eve! Can you believe it?? Time certainly flies for our intrepid cardmakers!!
And yep, you know what that means, we definitely need to start making a list, checking it twice... and getting those cards made.
To help you boost the Christmas creative spirit, the Card Forum is hosting a new Christmas card challenge for your new seasonal creations.
And to add to the fun, Scrapbook Central is going to help one lucky participant stock up on their seasonal stash.
The random winner will receive a selection of Daisy D's Mistletoe Memories papers and a selection of the same themed embellishments.
The deadline for entry into the prize draw is midnight on Monday 24th September - just post a brand new Christmas card hot off the Polar Express in this thread for your chance win!
Already made some for a table top sale for the christmas meal for the elderly at flats where my mum lives. The little car is a Francoise Read stamp and the penquins is one of my Sis stamps so not sure of the make but she brought it this year. PP is DCWV
Heres 2 I made tonight for the DCWV challenge but they fit here too! used DCWV quote stack and HOTP papers, holly is a punch with tiny red stickers on them and a coloured peeloff and the ohter quote has been embossed using a fiskers plate through the Big Shot. TFL
Great cards everyone.
I'm loving doing clear acetate cards at the mo, but they are a nightmare to photograph, but here is my latest one for Christmas. I've stamped on the front and embossed the back of the card (which isn't too clear on the photo), then i've stuck the backing paper behind that.

Hi Dawn - thanks hun yes it's a punch - just a Dovecraft 2.5" (I think!) one. I sometimes cut my scallops on my Cricut too - Mini Monos has scalloped squares & circles.
Oh lovely card Tracy - love acetate too. I bought some last week but haven't used it yet - think I'm going to have a go at embossing!
