DS is 14 and DD is 12 they would leave home if i sent a present into their teachers !!!
But may have a go at the journalling Jar for new babies idea as have a new niece this year

Been following this fab thread and picked up some great ideas.
We used to make woven hearts to fill with sweets and hang on the tree as small gifts, instructions here and some more picture instructions here
We also make some great coasters with the cubs using craft stick/lolly sticks, would be a good one for kids craft club. You line up 7-8 sticks side by side and glue 2 parallel sticks at right angles to the 8 to hold them all together. Then you can decorate them as you wish. We paint them with acrylic paints but they'd be great with rub ons and sealed with varnish.
