If I remember rightly, there wasn't much difference in the price of the Caran D'Ache and Derwent ones. Can't remember the price though

Not sure whether I'm really allowed to post this link or not - so apologies if I'm not. I don't know this company at all, I just did a search.
I *think* these are the ones. It confuses me a bit as it doesn't say "water colour pencils" but only "water soluable"...maybe it's the same thing...?

My BLOG - would love a visit if you have a minute spare (incl free layout classes, maze book, exploding box)

Another very important point when buying watercolour pencils is to remember that is more important to have 3 or 4 diferent shades of one colour rather than 4 diferent colours IYKWIM>

I use H2O or Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Tim Holz gives a nice vintage look

Dipping in and out!
After seeing a friend's watercolouring, she showed me a few tips and I bought a palette of Daler Rowney paints and now I can't get enough of it! I have rediscovered my stamps and am buying more! I also use H2O's and Marvy Le Plume and the pastel Whispers pens which give a lovely subtle colour. I have a couple of recent cards in my gallery.

Just to let you know Hobbycraft have a half price sale on artists materials and derwent and Faber Castell are half price for buying them singly but they also have half price on certain tin/box collections as well.

I use inks too as well as watercolours etc. The latest one on my blog uses inks to colour the image.
