I noticed someone asking for this template. My daughter is brill at making them, I just tell her what I want something to look like and she makes it into a craft robo template! tagbook
similar idea to 'that' board but hand drawn to random measurements.
Try Edit>Ungroup and resizing the pieces to make 'nesting' sizes.
Otherwise use your board to emboss all the sizes in black paper, cut them outside the lines then scan in the black shapes and Use Inkscape to make templates. You should be able to first cut then place your shape on your board to emboss.

Averil made this cute flower book but has been unable to upload it, so she asked me if i would do it for her as i helped her out originally with instructions for how to make this lovely little flower book.
so on behalf of averil i hope you like it, she has cut it and the jpeg is attached of the finished card.
Edited to say:-
just relalised that the various layers on the gsd are not grouped so it could make it a little dificult for newcomers to cut the individual sections.
I will upload it again once averil has amended.
the photo will just have to be a tease for now!
26th sept, ok you have been teased enough her is averils template, enjoy!
Having watched the glitter girls the other day I decided to have a go and make my own template. It cuts fine although I haven't made one up yet.
You cut out the template 3 or 4 times and glue them together down the middle strip. You can then arrange them in a star shape. Or you can visit Splitcoast Stampers for tutorial, see attachment for idea.

God must love stupid people-He made so many of them
I made these for some graduation cards. Cut in various sizes & colours and stick to contrast papers to form the 'pages' then decorate the book spines however you wish. Quite effective stacked up like a pile of books.
I made a piano hinge spine. This file can be used to make a little book with a piano hinge binding. You know: a double page and the spine in the middle, one up one down, Another double page with the spine in the same position, one down and one up. Stack them and put a wooden meat stick throug the ups and downs. You will have 4 pages bound together now. Put a bead on the end of the stick and the pages will not fall off.
This design is also usefull if you want a border with a ribbon through it. Do not cut the vertical lines than.
You can find a GSD, a GRA, a WPC, a PDF and an Ai8 in this zip
Thanks I was looking for images of pianohinge books, but this is much better!
I enclosed a jpg of the file. as you see there are 2 spines. The difference is: one has red vertical cuts and the other has purple vertical cuts The red vertical cuts are a bit bigger than the purple vertical cuts, and since I did not test it yet, I do not know if the red cuts are not to big in order to be strong enough.
Hese's a cascade album that is so popular over here. 2 of the borders were from here, and I just converted them a bit, so heres my version.. Can use as many or as few of the pages to suit your own needs...
The file that was created by a UKscrappers member is the last page of this cascade album, the scalloped border, and was made by RachelB. I just made it wider to be able to use this as an album page..SO thank you RachelB for your wonderful work on this fab file..
The bracket files are actually from a font, and from a stock file from quickutz. I just made them bigger and welded them. The scallops were also borders from QC tweaked them as well...These are really nice when done, they are just like the word books, only with shapes instead of letters. Will post pics soon
Here is the template for Mary Anne's round squash book and the appropriate segment size which could be used for print and cut and used to resize imported jpegs.
This would be very difficult to make accutately without Robo
I am making a couple to send to twin girls for their 9th birthday but I am going to leave them partially unfinished for them to complete themselves - a sort of d-i-y card/book! I will add a photo when they are done
You can tell what I have just watched can't you? MMM And I thought they were quite expensive when you already have card and a cutting machine to do it for you ....
All you need for this is card , kebab stick and your decorations....
Thought you might like this template of the owl inspired by the owl shape on the American Craft Fair papers by Lucy Hootski and drawn by Tara Torrens of Cleo Crafts.
I know we can't cut felt but we could flock cardstock and at least cut all the pages accurately!
This owl is so cute he would look good on a card or a layout
