I want to thank everyone in this forum for there advice and help with my new best friend (my robo)
I have finally done it. A card i have done myself. You experts out there are bound to find mistakes but it cut out and i put it together and the picture is the result.
Hello everybody, after weeks of struggling, I managed something this morning. Couldn't believe my eyes at first .
I needed a card for my friend Lisa who is opening a dress shop today and I made this one for her. It cuts great and I am sooooooooooooo pleased to finally share something with you.
The photo is really bad as the dress, hat ... are light blue and light green, very pretty. But hey, I managed my first template, I can't additionally ask for being a 1st class photographer, can I ? The dress and accessories come from my Sizzix die-cuts.
Of course you will need a friend called Lisa , but that's only a start, I guess if I go back to the Inkscape file I should be able to remove the Lisa. Well, hope you like it.
All my thanks to everybody who helped me with their patience, advice and tutorials.
Shopmo is right, creating templates is addictive like anything.
So I have removed the Lisa firstname. You are now left with a Good luck only. Surely you will have more occasions to use it. For the picture, please refer to my previous posting.

I needed a Good Luck in your driving test card and inspired by Shirley Anne's card I have made this using her cat and her style. On reflection I should have made a square card so that the 'u' wasn't on the L plate, but the benefit of hind sight ...........!
Thank you Shirley for the idea

So sorry I should have said that the font used is called Big Mummy and is free from Dafont

Thank you kiaya, for setting this month's challenge, and for sharing your great designs, they are lovely.
Here is my challenge entry: it's a basic slider card adapted to take a welded 'pop up' Good Luck greeting, and embellished with shamrocks and horseshoes. It was great fun to make, and I hope someone might find it useful.
Here's a basic one from me, could be used for a male or add some flowers, butterflies, beads etc for a female. Sorry the picture's a bit dark I WILL get the hang of this new camera
