The red lines are dashed so the windows and doors will open! Use maybe to frame family photos on a scrapbook page - make a photo frame by sticking the photos behind the windows and door then sticking the card closed; or use just as a simple card!
I've just cut it and blowing my own trumpet unashamedly-it's cute!!
Don't forget you can select and ungroup to remove any bits you don't want - or copy and paste to add another window instead of the words.
Here are a couple of gables, a kennel and roof and a picket fence ( copy and paste to length required)
Enjoy,
Susibi
Little birdhouse card with separate gables. I've just cut it and it looks fine. As I did it for ease in 1 piece of card I'll decorate it and put up a pic asap. It can be hung or will actually stand up by itself. Why not decorate one then add a little calendar as a gift. Makes a good kids colouring project - cut out a few fronts ( select, ungroup, delete all the back bits ) - 2 to a page then the kids could colour and attach small calendars - great for fundraising ( bird charities?) or just a little peace and quiet.
However you use it - enjoy!

ps - have added fronts template - the gable can be cut once then used as a template as I couldn't get more than one on a page without fiddling! ( and I ain't in a fiddling mood!!)
Enjoy

Reason: added fronts
Hi all i got this idea off create & craft so have drawn the camera myself and reversed it so it should make a shaped card. Not cut it yet as its late but will try it tomorrow, but it looks as though it will be ok.

Reason: Updated Design
I saw a simular card to this at the G-Mex show this weekend and thought ......... I wonder if? and i could !!!
Hope you like it, when i have decorated it i'll post a piccy.
This one is absolutely plain and fits in a standard C6 envelope as I have sized it, though it's up to you how big you need it. I have cut it from hammered ivory card which is reasonably weighty, and decorated one with stamping and embossing (bridal holographic) and the other with glitter pen lines. In both cases I have then used tiny flowers (some punched, some robo'd)
I think it could be good for sympathy, wedding, christening too.
Hope someone can find a use for it.
I have included the text that was in Bradley Hand font (I think)
I've already uploaded all my files but I stuck them all in one thread and poor Lucille couldn't move them so I'm uploading them separately as it won't let me attach them to their original posts in the temporary forum.
This card is an adaptation of the same file as the paperchain teddies. I just took one of the teddies and enlarged it and fiddled a bit with it to make a lining - simply because I like putting linings in my cards. As always check your cutline settings before cutting.
The file with the bows on, is set up to cut from an A5 piece of card. If you are nervous about using an A5 sized card try it out with a pen in the holder.

There's nothing wrong with teenagers that reasoning with them won't aggravate!
An easy template to cut and you can use the base and decorate it in any way you like e.g with peeloffs or stick something else on the top rather than a number - it was just that I had to do it for a first birthday. I have also done a wedding cake card which you can see in my gallery.
Hope it's of some use - it looks better made up than in the photo.
