Yep it's saying this on their website too? I wonder why it's been cancelled - it doesn't say. I hadn't booked tickets yet but was thinking of doing so....

Anyone any ideas - was it lack of interest? The workshops seemed fab but fairly pricey - but the people hosting them were 'top notch'....

its a bit of a shock to me as i ordered my ticket this morning to go to the regular show, but was gonna get the imagine initially as it sounded so good. its still being advertised in mags......is it only me but is it becoming quite common now for craft related things (ie, shows, mags etc) to get cancelled. i find it very sad.

I emailed them about this, as I'd booked two places for a class, as was told that 'dispite thorough advertising, there was a distinct lack of people wanting this sort of thing'!!!
They had to cancel as some of the tutors were coming from the US!!

Don't know about you, but I hardly saw any advertising, but as soon as I'd booked a class, I got 4 emails and 3 flyers through the post!!!!

There was a post about this here about a week ago; may have some more info as to why it was cancelled, but as already said, I think it was lack on interest

Just had a look at that thread thanks - didn't see it originally! I have to agree that I don't think there was enough advertising and to find a list of the workshops a couple of months back took some very severe hunting around! If they'd advertised the actual workshops in mags I bet they would have got more interest as there was some brill stuff on there! I, also am guilty of hanging on to see if I was going to book - namely because, as others said, it's a long way to go and I don't think I would have got it all done in a day - would have been v hard pushed to get there for 9 am ish (in fact prob impossible!).

It's a shame though. Might try and get to the show still though, meaning I can get there at a more manageable time too!
