What makes a good class?

I am not much of a designer, but I know that I can help people with different levels of ability as I have 12 years worth of fixing mistakes and helping people with no craft experience to make things.
It was helpfull to sit in on a class last week and just observe and chat.

If you can find someone to 'test' out your class on that would probably help you.

I teach and also run cardmaking retreats, and I must admit that I always underestimate quite how long it takes to finish a project in a class situation so I never finish my classes on time! Recently I've been testing my class ideas on friends before I teach them and it's been really useful.
