Help.. I can't upload my LO

Hi Everyone...

I am desperately hoping someone out there will be able to help me... I am trying to upload my LO but it keeps saying the photo exceeds file size limit?

Ok.. I know nothing about this kind of thing so please bare with me...

All I have done is downloaded my photo's from my SD Memory card using the port on my computer. They have been saved on my PC as a JPG...... and well thats it.. thats all I've done... What am I doing wrong .. Help !!

You'll need to use photo editing software to resize it.... they can't be more than 600x600 pixels (for a SLO, or 1000x500 for a DLO) or more than 250kb as a file size.

Have to say that although I'm not sure, I had the same problem earlier in the week and got so fed up I stopped trying! Hope you don't mind me jumping on your thread, but I'd love to know too!

I'm not a techie .. but I resize mine as I download them using the photo package connected to my camera.

There's a section called Images and then I go to Resize and it then resizes them.

I've also got photoshop which I use to resize if I forget.

Sorry I can't be more help, but I'm sure a whizz-kid will be along shortly who can help more !!!!

You should have got some image processing software with you camera (or PC if the slots are built into that!).

I use Paint Shop Pro, which used to have downloadable trial versions - mine's a purchased copy from when WHS had a sale on it

I did what you said and went into my imaging software (HP Image editor) and resized the photo..
