it's my birfday in a couple of weeks (oh ok! I've got about a quarter of an hour over 2 weeks to wait!), and I think hubby's gonna be giving me cash to chose my own stash -- same as he did for Christmas

As I'm not working to a fixed monthly budget, mine'll just get added to my 'cash available' figure

I'm soon going on a zero tolerance stash diet soon. Everytime I do an overhaul of my stash inventory/organisation method, I am reminded of just how much I have. My new year's resolution is to stop this maddening hoarding mentality and actually using what I have.

    BUT!!!

these companies keep coming out with cute lines of paper. That seems to be my weakness now.

How much are you paying yourself for a CJ entry though hon???? And do not forget that creating your CJ has to be worth more than a entry IYSWIM.

Well I think that a CJ entry should be worth the same as a DLO as you have to think of the idea first - which sometimes is hard and then interpret your mad but brilliant idea from your head to paper which has to be at least as difficult as a DLO if not more!

And the actual creation of a CJ - hmmm well maybe a DLO and a SLO combined?

    How does that sound?

I'm going to work everything (as previously suggested) as UKS points * 10p.... so a LO = £1 (10x10p), a DLO=£2 etc. And as I get into a rut of making heaps of cards, I'm also reinstating the UKS 5 points for a card in terms of payment (50p) So making the actual CJ (decorating covers etc) = £2.50, and each CJ entry also = £2.50

And I'm shadowing a CJ (doing mine by myself for myself, but following what they're doing as they're having monthly techniques and a selection of topics relevant to the main theme), so that'll earn me some money. It should end up with 11 pages, so including the covers that's 12x£2.50 = £30 over the year

    ETA: A minibook = 50 points = £5

My birthday is not until October :sigh:

Viv, I think I would have a think about tools (like a crocodile for instance!) and stamps if you like stamping. Books is def a good one too.
