(THink you asked about which one to get - so spill the beans and let us know what one rseduced you! ) So that was a planned purchase pre-stash diet and its a tool too so is allowed.

And the cutter - another tool so not going to be used up like paper etc IYSWIM.

Does that help or should I be telling you off more??

ARGH you lot are going to kill my business....and I have scrummy things coming too.

    Ok I'm in.

    Rules:

    * I'm allowed my Scrapagogo kit and Little Silver Hat kit as they're my loves.
    * I'm allowed to spend £10 a month at crops
    * Apart from that no spending till I go to OZ (later this month) then I'll review. I may pay myself for each layout...

Oh and that doesn't include shop stock as I NEED that for the gallery.

I'm going to join in now too. I admit I'm kinda breaking it because I have a bunch of things I already had my name on before xmas but needed to get paid. So thats not included. Once those things are bought and out of the way:

    1. £15 a month which can rollover if needed.
    2. If possible, don't spend budget and save up for Ally Pally in April.
    3. Must not buy new papers, can only buy more if I use up existing papers.

That will do for moment! No budget for this month as have already spent too much with xmas buys.

maybe a bit more telling off is needed for me

I got a minolta in the end. It was perfect for what i needed it for and had all the features i wanted too.
So hopefully it should arrive some time this week *grins widely*

Thanks for starting this one up again Becky! I joined the first stash diet thread ages ago and it's been so helpful in helping keep the stash mountain under control.

    OK, my rules for 2007:

    No stash buying unless it's
    - stuff earmarked for a specific project, same goes for sewing things!
    - albums / album accessories
    - glue
    - mags

Also I'm going to to use up 2 sheets of my stock of patterned paper per week (and aim at 4 sheets) and start an album with non-matching los to use up my bits and bobs.

Agree with Becky on swaps, they're brill for brightening your day without buying any new stuff.

I'm going to sign up too, I've spent far too much on stash recently and not touched most of it. Also need to concentrate funds on getting our kitchen, and now bathroom done.
    My rules are:
    1) £15 monthly budget, excluding bazzill subscription, magazine and adhesive, oh and the Harrogate show for new releases!
    2) Must tidy up and clear out on a more regular basis and sell/RAK things I don't need and won't use. Money from that can be used on new stash on top of monthly budget.
    3) No more patterned papers until I get to grips with the box full I already have!
I'm a shop-a-holic so I doubt those will last long!

I am feeling very proud of myself, 'cause before I signed up for this stash diet I was buying some sale stuff, but the site was slow so it was still in my basket, and after posting here I went and emptied my basket!

I've also filled most of a bankers box with stuff for Amanda for Africa, so I'm feeling good. Must get round to posting it when I've put a few more goodies in!

Monika, I've pm'd you re the Capture the Magic Bazzill kit (they're sponsors so it's OK to link here: www.capturethemagic.biz
