Comfortablecat, where did you get all your fabby glass bottles??
I've searched high and low for decent pretty glass bottles for my ribbons...i've resorted to kilner jars, but they're just too 'kitcheny' and not pretty enough for me!!

My room
Anna I like being shut off and private in my room too! My space is on the 2nd floor of our Georgian house and as I'm partly disabled it takes some doing to climb to the top floor, so once I'm here I tend to stay here .... I've got a bathroom next door and a kettle up here, so this is where I spend much of my time. Wish my space was as organised as some people's - I could do better if I moved my table up against a wall so I could have shelving above - but don't want to give up my wonderful bay window view. Love the jars people are using - are they any particular kind?

There are 2 units side by side- they came from MFI, but it was quite some time age. they are great though because the are about 40cm deep- they don't intrude into the room too much, but still take cropper hoppers, large storage boxes etc, and you can configure them how you want. Can't remeber what they were called though, sorry.

Storage
Just remembered reading somewhere about using the Ikea shoe storage cabinet for keeping 12 x 12 papers and cardstock - looked at the cabinets last time I was in the store and I reckon it would work really well, not to mention the cupboards being relatively slim in depth. Thought this might interest somebody?

Most of my glass jars are from Ikea, other than the prima ones of course Very cheap too, about £1.50 for the biggest I think?!

Go ahead baylie, I enjoyed decorating the ikea draws as much as doing a Lo. At first I thought it was a waste of stash but then thought I'd be looking at them every day so went ahead & love them Show me your finished ones once you have done them

and her cheeky little monkey!
The Ikea jars are lovely, and as soon as ds is a bit older I'll go buy them. For now I better stick to the plastic ones from Poundstretcher, doesn't matter if he throws then round the room!
Saying that though, The Range have a pack of 10 spice jars that are perfect for blossoms and buttons for £4.50
