I made this for my friends 50th Birthday. He broke his leg last July and has not been able to visit the hills since then I think the card cheered him up.

Wende, I love the way you've used the embossed circle as the greeting/golf ball - very clever.

Here's a card I just made for my step FIL. Thank the Lord for managing to find a nascar Jolee's amongst my stash, as he is a big fan, and I didn't fancy the idea of trying to find images and then faff about with them. I'm a happy bunny.

I am a great motor racing fan too - I even used to be a motor race marshall ...

However that was not the inspiration for these male orientated cards.

The background for the lighthouse card was made with alcohol inks, mounted on turquoise card and then mulbury papers. The image was stamped on acetate.

The seahorses were made using peel offs, stuck onto acetate and then coloured with gelly roll and stardust pens. One was then made double sided with wire in the middle to create movement. The vellum was torn to create the effect of waves.

The pirate card was for a friends 40th birthday - he was having a priate themed fancy dress party. It uses similar techniques to the seahorse card.

I hope you like them and look forward to your comments
