I did not scan mine.. but I did some earlier in the year.
I used some black card to mount a couple of skeleton leaves, with a black ribbon tied around the card. Then mounted on a white card.

They looked quite nice. I did not put words on the front, but wrote a message inside the card.

Here is one I did for a friend recently, and some others I did with the same set of stamps. I have only just started scanning my cards, so that's all I have a the moment.

When you make a sympathy card it's worth making a second to have by - I always used to buy a spare sympathy card when I found a nice one as so many are awful, and you always need to find one in a hurry!

Those are really nice, Eileen. Did you do the sentiments on the computer or did you use a stamp? I've found it virtually impossible to find a stamp that says 'With Sympathy' or anything similar. I settled on a 'Thinking of You' but would use my computer next time.

I have a couple on my webbie, under sympathy cards. I tend to keep the colours very soft and muted and keep the whole thing really simple. I find little calla lilies are good for this kind of card.

    Best of luck

It's a set of nine stamps:
    - Death leaves a heartache no one can heal Love leaves a memory noone can steal
    - When you love somebody enough you can still hear the laughter after they've gone
    - I'm so sorry for your loss
    - I'm here for you if you need anything
    - Sometimes there are no words, only love
    - We're deeply saddened by your loss
    - Measure you life by the smiles you've shared not by the tears you've shed
    - Life last a short while, but the memories it holds last forever
    - Heal the past Live the present Dream the future

in various fonts so there's something for most sympathy needs.

The only problem is - I can't remember who made them and have taken them out of the original packaging to put in a CD case! They are unmounted stamps, the rubber bit is blue, which is quite distinctive, and they are on clingy grey mount with the words printed on the sheets (2) of acetate they come on. Perhaps some clever person will recognise the brand, or it might even be worth enquiring on the shopping forum

Sorry I can't help more, they are a great set of stamps (and I'm not a keen stamper)

Yes, I just wish I could remember where they came from, I was hoping someone might recognise the description!

Took some digging through the 'net, but I've found an American seller with them

Only 2 sets left, and listed as not being restocked. $12.99 for the stamps + $10.00 shipping to the UK (making for a total of $22.99, which PayPal will exchange as £12.09 as I type).
