Well I have been playing and its amazing, quick and simple and cuts Bazzill and foil card (med thickness card) without batting an eyelid It even cuts the pre-loaded sentiments from the cartridge quite small for cardmakers, I was concerned that at 1" minimum my group would not get use of these as much for cards but its all good!

I am very torn, I have a craft robo that I can't use with my Mac so it has sat for a year unused.
I could borrow a laptop and set it up each time if I wanted to use it but dont really have enough space.

so, I could justify a Cricut and at the moment I can afford one!

I can get one locally for £210
    BUT
I am going to the USA in 3 weeks and can buy one there for $200, I would have to buy an adaptor for it, woudln't have a UK warranty and may have to pay customs when I bring it home. It will take up valuable luggage space or I can mail it back.

I nearly went and bought one today but held back wondering if the USA saving was worth the hassle

    ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

i would buy the cricut here and spend even more on some cartridges from US - much cheaper /not bulky/ no customs etc!
