i agree about the religious point, i'm an active religious person but as ellie said, its a very personal thing, and as Joanne is seeming to be determined to stay cheery then religion might just freak the poor gal out!!
i'm leaning towards some funny limmericks....i've just found some rip roaring ones.....so i hope that 1 she has the same sense of humour as me (!!) and 2 she can stand the pace! on the other hand mayabe i should tone it down...what does everyone else think, have i took the cheering up bit too far???!!!

oh crumbs - i hope I havent upset anyone.

I went to see Jo a few weeks back and at that pint she was about to receive chemo. she asked me casually would I make her a scarf for her. I said no, Ill make two! She is meeting all of this head on - so bright and cheery is what she needs. sure, words of comfort are great but if we can keep the religious aspect to a minimum then we can stream other forms of brightness together such a jokes, limericks, poems, stories and lyrics.
the more she keeps her mind off the coming dark days - the better xx she is the bravest woman i know.
    love Kirsty xx

I don't know Joanne only from playing word association on here. I will do one though. We stayed up late into the night once playing, just us two. I think everyone else gave up as they couldn't get a look in. I recognised her name and I have been keeping an eye out for news. I think that this is a lovely thing to do. She will feel emotionally supported during this difficult time. So yeah, I'd love to do one.

i treated anita mundt (her sister) to a photo shoot yesterday. Anita has been caring for her, along with Audrey their mum. I love Anita and her scrapping style. I read her blog all the time so spending time with her was just so emotional and a treat to give her a pick me up. plus Jo will receive a couple of pics to decorate her hospice room xx
take a look on my blog when you get a minute and also I give a mention to the very fab diamond diva (sharon) who hand dleivered her artwork (and our first of many 6x6 to come)
thank you girls - you are all treasures
