Album Cover help

Hi Ladies

I have kindly been given an 8 x 8 album that has a white linen cover. I am going to use it for the pics I took on a trip to Barcelona a couple of years back.

If you were me would you leave the cover plain or would you decorate it, and if you would decorate how/what would you do. Nothing too technical please as I am fairly new to all this and am still sometimes a bit daunted by it all!!

It would be nice to decorate it, with perhaps some chipboard letters or figures for the name and date. However, if it's an album, that will end up on a shelf eventually, everytime you pull it out, you might lose a letter! So I would think carefully about what you use to decorate it with.
