Attaching a file folder to a layout

Wondering how people have gone about doing this

I have a daisy'd f/folder full of lil snaps - which is quite thick when shut - was pondering attaching it to a LO, but in such a way it can be detatched (IYKWIM) but then wondered about it fiiting in a page protector etc.

Any advice appreciated

I've stuck paper bag books on Lo's before with double sided tape and then cut through the page protector so it can be looked at.
