    How to tie the perfect bow?

    Do any of you have any great tips on how to tie the perfect bow please?

    I loop both ends of the ribbon then tie them together as normal, rather than making one loop and wrapping the other end round... iykwim?

    I use a home made bow maker but you can do it with two pens

    however - you need to see a practical demo really

    I BOUGHT A VERY SIMPLE BO MAKER FROM AN AUCTION SITE...REALLY CHEAP AND ENABLES YOU TO MAKE PERFECT BOWS £1.70 & 60 p postage i think lol....just search bow maker

    Eaton - I have also purchased one of those from the auction, and it does what it says - makes bows. Having said that it is a very simple design.

    Tie the bow as normal, but before making the loops, swap each of the ribbons into the other hand (effectively twisting them round) and tie as normal.

    the item enables you to do bows up to about 12 cm....and as small as 2 cm.....wouldn't be without mine lol
