........how do you attach yours to los?

Tunny-Farr, a Maori word for a mythical beastie thing.
Brads, staples, eyelets, tie them on with ribbon, have a search in the gallery for acetate or overlay and see what others have done? I've never actually used it myself but I'd probably use brads or staples

Thanks - didn't think of staples

All the aforementioned, plus xyron works well too (I've just uploaded one into my gallery). And for small pieces I have used invisidots (made for vellum). I have tried glossy accents, which initially worked well, but by the time it had dried, the ink had run a bit (might be fine with a preprinted transparency).

collector of pretty paper
I did a class with Sarah Nauman of HOTP and it was all about onerlays and her recommendation was to use glue on the back of any solid printing on the acetate so this is what I do as it seems to work and you can't see the glue dots

So many ideas, so little time ....
Staples. Stitching. Brads. Put eneral embellisshments on top and then use glue on the acetate behind them so the glue doesn't show. Use glue behind any lettering where it can't be seen. ASticky ribbon. Peel offs.

Hi Sarah,
I tried the invisdots, mentioned above, but the bond is not very strong, so would recommend you stick with one or more of the other methods. In this LO, I used normal adhesive for the part of the acetate that's tucked behind the photo, and then eyelets in the corners to hold it down. So I guess it's a case of taking each LO one at a time depending on the arrangement of the other features, IYKWIM!

Thanks Kate and everyone, hopefully will get to town this pm and get some more brads and some vellum tape, and look into the other ideas as and when I build up my stash (though no idea where to keep it - grown to two big bags in under 3 months! - lol)
ps Kate that lo of your dd is gorgeous - might borrow the words for ds (if that's ok).

You can drybrush acrylic paint onto the back and that will stick it to your background too.

I either use Sticky Fingers vellum glue.
Or I use Zig 2 way, and put tiny dots down the sides, wait till it goes clear and stick.
