lattice topper
I've just knocked these up for a thread, rather than waste them I'm uploading them here in case anyone can use them.
There are 11 different toppers in total, to match the A6 Fancy Edged card and topper sets I made a while ago.
If you want to resize or make them like nesting shapes (not that lattice really works for nesting shapes in my opinion) it is easy to do.
Each oval is 5" in height. Select the oval you want to resize, duplicate, make sure the Lock aspect ratio box is ticked, then block and type in the size you want in the height box. I've found for nesting shapes reducing the height by ½" for each duplicate works perfectly.
Here are the rectangular lattice toppers to match the A6 card sets I uploaded a while ago, they are 5" in height but can be resized.
I hope they might be useful for someone.
They can be easily resized to make a graduating set, just select the one you want to use, duplicate it, click the Scale button and click "Lock aspect ratio" then block and type in the size you want in the height box. As I've said before I find if you duplicate and reduce the size of each one by ½" each time that works perfectly for me.
Here are the round set of lattice fancy edge toppers to match my 5" card sets.
Here are the square lattice toppers to match my 5" card sets.
hope its ok.
I've cut this and it's fine, if anyone can use it. Might look good enlarged and laminated for a tablemat or under a potted plant
A flower topper and mat for you. Gsd and svg formats can be dowloaded from my Blog
Another topper this time with butterflies. It cuts fine but is fairly delicate - I used 160 gsm card. On the attached photo of a card I made with it I used a Martha Stewart punch to cut the corners - I seldom use punches these days and often forget that I have got them as I tend to cut everything on the Cameo !! If anyone wants gsd or svg formats you can download them from my blog.
This is my frame but i dont know how to make holes going around the inside of the scalloped area x
Example from cariad_1 (second template and pink image): Do you mean like this photo? I did this by using text (letter o) and dragged it around the shape..... like you do for creating the scallop shape.I used the slider to pull the 'o's inside the scalloped circle. I altered the letter spacing so it fitted inside the scallops, you might want to space them a bit further because I did it quickly and didn't alter it too much. . You might have to alter the size of the letter to small.
This version will actually need modifying because as it stands the Os in the scallops will be double cut. Rosemary
This is my first try at making a file from scratch, I know its not perfect but I'm happy with it. I have no idea how to add this but I'm having a go anyway
