I promise not to buy any pastel pencils (well not until I try Tree's!)
Glad to hear it
I was so tempted today when I saw some, but I thought I'd be a good girl and wait for the blender and blending stumps that I ordered at the weekend :)
I got some pastel pencils today and what a difference they make. Only had a quick play but they are far better than watercolours
Does anyone know where I can get some Derwent stumps online?
Thanks
Ive been searching for them too Sarah
Can I ask you girls if you stamp with Staz On ink? I have found that it sometimes seems to lift into the colour with the mineral spirits - could this be because they are both solvent based? Is there a better ink to use?
Kim I googled it and found 2 companies britishretailers and mayfairstationers. I have to say the Derwent stumps seem really expensive at £9-£12.
Mayfair stationers only have the pods and these aren't the blending stumps Lisa. I saw these in Hobbycraft the other day. I have contacted Derwent asking for suppliers so fingers crossed they will get back to me when they return after the holidays.
I've answered my own question by trying dye and pigment inks and neither lift with spirits so they are better to use with Sansodor or Gamsol.
Also I have found the best cardstock is the SU Whisper white for using the pencils on.
Is this not what you are looking for then?
thanks Lisa!
Kim was about to say I use my Brilliance dewdrops and they don't 'move' with the sansodor.
Thanks Lisa, when I searched the site it gave me the pods! Not bad for a pack of 12 though really.
Oohh thank's Lisa!
