super smooth paper/card

Hi, I hope someone may be able to help me with this query. I have bought a few My Craft Studio cd roms but don't really know how to use them. I did try printing off a design yesterday and I'm using Staples graphic paper to print on. Is this the right sort of paper to use as the Create and Craft programme suggest super smooth paper. The design printed ok but to me it just looks flat with no lustre at all. Also I don't know what card to use to actually print the main body of the card as the card that I have is too thick to use in my front loading printer. I'm not having much luck with My Craft Studio at the moment.
