Sizzix have a policy of not recommending any other die cutting machines but their own for their dies but as we know the Sizzix dies work with the Cuttlebug. I have no personal experience of the new 6 x 6 dimensional cutting plate but I would assume it replaces a Cuttlebug B or C plate in your usual sandwich. Having seen the You tube Tim Holtz CHA demo I wasn't that impressed with it but it is a pretty reasonable price so may be worth a try.
Thanks for that, it just seems a neat idea and would be an interesting thing to play with, not that I have many dies that it would work with!
Well apart from the obvious butterflies you could try letters or flowers maybe. On the demo video TH suggests putting it along the base of trees and folding them upright. It looks like you need the movers and shapers base tray with it (not sure if you can work around this and find an alternative if you don't have one).
I've got the M&S base tray, as well as a fair few of the M&S dies, so there are things I can have a play with. Think I'll go watch the video again and see exactly what he does!
