Dylusion left overs
What do you do with your inky left over tissue??
I adore the colours of dylusion inks & hate to waste my coloured tissue so I keep it!!
So far I have decoupaged it on to blanks to make jewellery. These are laminated card shapes that I die cut & glue up to five layers with PVA glue, when dry the edges can be sanded then the tissue applied, then varnish.
I've also dampened the tissue added PVA & pushed it on to a background stamp. When dry you have a textural piece that can be cut & glued on to things. You need several layers. It's a good idea to use Versamark first as a resist.
Today I experimented with printing from the tissue. I wet some card pieces, placed them face down on to the tissue which was on a glass plate. The results were lovely. If you want to stamp the card first do use Versafine & let it dry. there was some buckling but it can be easily ironed flat under a spare piece of paper.
So what do you do????
