2020 card challenge - May

Good morning!

I hope you are all staying well and crafty. <3

I'm afraid cardmaking has taken a bit of a back seat for me, but I still have a to-do list as long as my arm of projects I want to make. Just being distracted by other craft projects and being able to sit in the conservatory to do them. :)

So this month's prompt definitely embraces some late spring/early summer elements, plus lots of things that get covered in scrapbooking lines each year. :D So a good one for dusting off older products or just going with what's to hand. :D

Points for this challenge:
On top of the standard 5 points per any card you make, if you make a card for the monthly challenge you can now claim an extra 10 points! :)
As with all the other UKS challenges you can only claim this once a month.

Here’s one from me, losely fits this prompt - there’s cup cakes on the PP.
Lara is 3 today and we’ve bought her a monthly subscription to a kids cooking club, a bit like Hello Fresh but e recipe for kids to make :)

Beautiful card Susie. Love the pink and the delicate foliage, but especially like
the butterfly with the pearl. Did you stamp the flowers and leaves, or are they printed.

Thanks ladies. No Ellie, you know me, I found some digi flowers and had a play around with them until I could fit them onto the heart.

The square dies I had been looking for I found today. I asked hubby to help me sort through stuff in case I was missing seeing them. I handed him the same design but in circles and told him to look for a square design like that and as I passed it to him lo and behold on the back was the set of dies I'd been searching for.:rolleyes:

You are all so kind, thank you. Here's one I haven't shared and I am so grateful for these images and the social distancing thing has come in handy for quick cards. I am going to do a couple more one for my uncle who is 95 and being shielded at present. He has a great sense of humour and will love it but meanwhile it was my friend's birthday on the 7th May and she doesn't go for pretty, pretty cards at all and she loved this. She does love her red wine.:lol:

The colours ar3 a bit more intense in real life !

She loves red wine and it even has her hair Ellie, or at least she did have it like quite recently it may be totally different now.

Love it Alison, I love the shadow effect of the 30 and the dotty background. Embossing folders are a must for adding interest to a plain background. Often when I wonder what is missing from a card an embossing folder is the answer

Maybe we should do that embossing swap that we talked about some time ago, now we are all at home and have a but more time

:lol::lol::lol: I have less time than ever, I don't know where the day goes. Mind you, a lot of it is gardening, certainly not relaxing and sunbathing.:rolleyes: I have just about finished 3 cards, one design, which I've used before will fit the prompts so I'll try to get a quick photo tomorrow.
