Wow, challenging ,challenge, and that's a lot of photos.
Don't know if I will have time to do them all, but we shall see
Thank you.
Ellie.
Ooh how exciting! This look like it's taken a lot of organising, thank you so much, I'll try not to let you down! List printed off, fingers firmly crossed, and off I go ^_^
Just one quick question to clarify (sorry! it's friday and my brain is not working to full capacity ) the LO featuring six photos, that is one LO containing 6 multiple photos, not 6 separate LOs?
I'm going to enjoy trying to get as many photos as possible
Nice to see you here Jayne, Ellie and Viv.
Feel free to chat and share pictures here as you would normally in the SNAP Forum, or link your blog updates on the challenge here as you would in the blog bits forum - we'd love to see how you are getting on :)
Sue, you've made a good start !
Happy snapping x
To clarify a couple of points -
- don't wait until you have all 20 photos before you post your link here; as soon as you open your blog post or gallery album please link to it here; Alison and I will be choosing our favourite photo to feature each week. :)
- obviously you won't collect points if you aren't in a team but you are eligible for the cash prizes
- if you are a points collector, any pages you do for the challenge qualify for the usual 10 points for a single LO and 20 points for a double layout in addition to the bonus points outlined above
- one cash prize will be awarded as the result of a random draw and the other will be given to the winner of a poll
Please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything you'd like made clearer. :)
Thanks for clarifying the points I was wondering about. I am pleased I can upload photos to here but I will put them all on a blog page at the end of August.
Brilliant idea Sue - and I especially like the idea of the LO challenges to get the scrappers scrapping the photos they have been snapping!
I did a similar photo hunt in the blogosphere and made a LO of ALL the photos I gathered as I'd collected them all within one holiday on the Isle of Man:http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...%20x%20451.jpg
Looking forward to getting going with this... Now I have a nice new phone with a better camera and bigger memory I'm hopeful of joining in.
HERE is my blog post bereft of any photos..yet!
Great LO Jemma
I will copy the list and have a go at this
Here's my empty but list filled blog post. I may pin it to the top of my blog :)
Having the list is a good start , looking forward to seeing the lists filling up wth photos .
Jemma, thanks for the inspiration, a great LO with lots of photos (how many photos are there ?) and a great idea for getting a photo of yourself :)
If memory serves, once you've published it, go back and edit it and then change the date.
so just to clarify these don't have to be new photos? As your blogpost went up within minutes of the thread starting and already has several completed pictures Susan so assuming it doesn't all have to be photos taken since the post went live?
that may make it a bit easier to get them all!
Thanks
ps it looks great so looking forward to joining in xxx
Great challenge will see how many photos I can take!!!!
Just one question the LO with photo of me does that have to be a selfie or can it be any photo that I feature in? Might be having a doh moment but think Kenya brain has set in early!!!!
What about the current-ness of the photos Sue?
The challenge is to snap all the photos in the list during July and August. :) I am the composer of the list and, of course, have had access to it for a while. I can't enter the competition. I put up the blog post to give people an idea of how it could look.
Hope that helps :)
Edited to add - my blog post now only contains photos taken on July :)
Thanks will get that sorted whilst in Kenya.
You must have been replying to my question while I was posting..so it's answered. It is as I expected..but as A.N.Other asked the question I thought we should clarify it! Lol
I'm going to join in with this as it sounds like it could be fun challenge & just hope I can complete the challenge.
I've took a couple of photos today .
Tomorrow we are out & know I"ll get two photos at least of what's on the list.
Hopefully I will get them on my blog by Monday .
Thank you Sue & Alison for arranging this
I managed to get one for water yesterday...we had a virtual monsoon and there were puddles everywhere! Where is our summer? Grr!
Sorry, I was out and about yesterday, thanks for clarifying Sue. The photos do need to be taken during July and August :)
Glad some of you have started already, I got a couple yesterday, will post here shortly.
Elaine, that is a good one to have, an apt reminder of summer 2016 :)

Great photos..I thought we were putting them in a single blog post.. I shall add them here too now. Thanks for sharing
You will need to have them all together on your blog post or UKS snap gallery but feel free to share pics here as we go along like we would normally for the snap challenge, or a link to your blog like you would for blog bits chat. It'll be nice to see how people are getting on :)
Ok.. Thanks.. I'll both then.
Hope it's o.k. to share this here??
Starting August 1st I'll be taking over as host of Mosaic Monday on my blog Normandy Life.
MM is a weekly meme where participants share mosaics/collages of their photographs perhaps it might be of interest to those joining the Summer Snap Challenge.

Absolutely! :) In fact a pumpkin is a fruit, apparently - I did have to look it up!
Quote:
A fruit is the part of the plant that develops from a flower. It's also the section of the plant that contains the seeds. The other parts of plants are considered vegetables. These include the stems, leaves and roots — and even the flower bud. The following are technically fruits: avocado, beans, peapods, corn kernels, cucumbers, grains, nuts, olives peppers, pumpkin, squash, sunflower seeds and tomatoes. Vegetables include celery (stem), lettuce (leaves), cauliflower and broccoli (buds), and beets, carrots and potatoes (roots).
You live and learn!
I've started collecting... For a Pimms girl this is perfect
