2021 card challenge - April

Good morning!

I'm definitely ready for winter to finally wave bye bye and for the sunshine to become more of a permanent fixture.
This time of year my cardmaking usually needs to get back on track, as my mojo always seems to pack up and head on holiday in March.
I'm hoping this month's prompt will kick start my papercrafting creativity again. :)

Spring and sunshine are definitely reflected in this month's colour focus and some of the elements in the image. However, as always, there are plenty of elements that will work for any occasion and many a theme.

Points for this challenge:
On top of the standard 5 points per any card you make, if you make a card for the monthly challenge you can claim an extra 10 points! :)
As with all the other UKS challenges you can only claim this once a month.

Thanks ladies. They look much darker in the picture than they do IRL so they are pastel coloured, honestly! Lol
It’s a great stamp..so useful. A retired SU one of course! What else? Lol

I have a mainly pastel one . It needed a darker background.

I received some new papers yesterday (it's been sooo long since I had a splurge on pretty papers) but have also managed to wrench my shoulder somehow. So plans to make cards today are on hold as it's just too uncomfortable sitting at my desk.

If nothing else I have managed to compose my wish list for the new Concord & 9th release - that's kind of crafting, right? :rolleyes::lol:

I feel like I'm failing spectacularly to make any cards at the moment. It's been a bit non-stop since restrictions started easing and last weekend was spent test driving and touring showrooms, but thankfully the outcome has been a new car so that's a real weight off my mind. And now work has kicked up a notch for the next week or so....

And of course while all this was happening I still managed to buy some new supplies. ;) Anyway, I'm sure there'll be time to craft again in the not too distant future. Just have to get my supplies in order and brain in gear. ;)
