Lucille thank you for always watching out for us, and thanks to Grace for the February’s challenge and all the wonderful files that were submitted. I have never really done much with paper piece-ings. This challenge has changed my mind.
Now for March’s Challenge: Embellishments
I always see the cute embellishments that are digital, punches, or from Cricuit. They are usually very simple in design and yet really add to a card or scrapbook page. I know we can do better.
To start you off I have taken a plain paperclip for an embellishment and welded a swirl to the top using Wingding font. In the file below I have included a plain paper clip. Anyone wanting to add a topper to the paperclip please feel free to use the one provided below.
Also: I will be posting a file on the 15th of March, or at least I hope to have it finished by then. It is a little more complicated than the paper clip and swirl.
Hope you decide to join the challenge; can’t wait to see your creations.
Here's my first contribution. Will make a gsd and upload later today...I'm supposed to be doing the hoovering:lol:
I've uploaded the polkadot paper as well if anyone would like it. It looks blue but it's lilac like the paperclip

So many great files ladies and thank you all for sharing. :)
Hope these are ok and someone can use. :)
Here is mine
Title says it all really :) Here's a little chubby bird to add to the already wonderful list of paperclips embellishments we have here. Nothing stupendous, but hope someone can use him. Haven't cut, as usual, but should be fine.
Double paper clip this time. sorry about the picture but it does cut fine
Thanks for the inspiration and all the other designs, you ladies are fab. I havent posted for a while as I usually work in Funtime, but I gave it a try in Robomaster for a change and came up with these 'Kiss N Tell'. Havent cut them yet but sure they will work. B) well lets hope they do. Usually I stick with the decorating not the designing!!
Oh yes, if anyone wants to resubmit for me as a svg file then please do so, Im not able to at the moment.

Love the kiss and tell Yana! Some super files on here now. This one is supposed to be one of those plastic clips that they put on clothes (you know the ones I mean) topped with a simple traced fleur de lys
Super files so far, :thanks: to all for sharing, and thank you for setting such an interesting challenge Dixie.
Here are some spring flower clips to add to the collection. I hope they are useful.
Search words: paper clip; paperclip; spring; flowers
This layered flower clip can also be made into a topper or shaker. I made my shaker using a large (33mm) corn plaster, filled with beads.
Hope it is useful.

ok there is enough of the feet to hold on. :)
I've been determined to try and add my first template to the forum for this challenge and have finally come up with an idea. I'm afraid it's very simple though compared to the wonderful ones that have gone before.
I autotraced the image and then altered some nodes to get smoother lines. I haven't cut it as it is but have cut the treble clef on its own and it cut well.
Val
Sorry don't know how to add a thumbnail. I've got a screenshot saved using Irfanview but that's as far as it's got!

Here is the file I promised for the 15th. I'm just a little late. They are not glued down so they're not centered. Hope you like it and someone can use it. I'll be busy until the end of the month. I have about 35 new students starting on Monday so I'll be out for a while. Happy cutting.

Nothing really special but here is a set for C*s great for those * layouts, sorry I went overboard with the trees, I just liked them all, made using various free C* dingbats.
I don't think these will lend themselves to cutting well converted from DXF so I've only uploaded the SVG version please feel free to convert if you want to try.
Not very exciting but I have entered now :lol: Hope it's useful
