I did these this afternoon to go with the cards I'm currently making
May be of use to someone
These lacy mats were designed in DM. The plain circular mats are layered on top of the lacy mats to make them a bit more substantial. I have cut the lacy mats in 120 gsm paper and the plain mats in 160 gsm conqueror card.
Care is needed when lifting the lacy mats from the carrier sheet. The designs cut well in DM and I have made a conversion to GSD by making a PDF file, then importing into inkscape, saving as a DXF then importing into Robomaster and saving as a GSD. This method has been the subject of some discussion on the robochat forum and has provided a very good conversion, but the bad news is it takes a long time to cut the GSD file.
I have had to pare down the GSD file to reduce it to the required file size so I have left only 2 mats on it. The 3rd mat can be made by copying the 2nd mat and resizing it to 2.210 x 2.240 ins. The plain mats are just circles made to fit on top of the mats.

It has been pointed out to me that the GSD file has some extra lines in it (only visible if you zoom out) I have now put this right and the amended GSD file is now posted. Sorry about that!

Just a small Scalloped card, with Layers
Hope someone can use
This is another one from last year done in DM and converted using the PDF method.
This one has six layers in all - I cut the three complete layers and then three of just the outline of each in a contrasting colour and then layered them up, decorated with beads and some mulberry flowers. Makes a nice topper for all occasions.

Sorry, I forgot to put the file through Brian's converter - here it is!

Here's another one! Although the lacy mat looks a bit fussy it cuts surprisingly well. The one on the photo is cut using concept 160 gsm, but I have cut it in 120 gsm paper as well. Designed in DM and converted to GSD using the PDF method. Makes a nice topper when decorated with flowers and beads etc. Hope you like!

This is a card I made with my daughter's birthday next month in mind. I hope it isn't too OTT - I do seem to get carried away sometimes with the ribbon and beads!
Done in DM and converted to GSD via the PDF method. The square frame could be used for scrapbooking and the round mats can be used separately also.

This needs to be cut on a slow speed as there are quite a few nodes
Another layered topper
Hopefullt here it is ( a senior moment )
I haven't cut this yet but it should be fine
Is there any call for sets this size?
1 5" card blank and 2 sets of toppers, 1 square and 1 round.
Set #2
Here's mine I just hope I did it right :lol:
Here Goes.. I have used Floralia font letter g .. First i copied it 4 times then welded a circle in the middle .. Then copied and pasted and welded the whole design til i came across something i liked :)
Just taking a break from parching and felt like making another card set.
To convert this file to a GSD, open the file in Inkscape and save as DXF to load and cut in RoboMaster, simple :D
I had fun doing this one, and this is what I used.
from the templates at the bottom of the tools in RM I used the bears head.
I have left some of my workings on the page to let the newbies see how I did it.
I'm back to my clones LOL. I have cut them and they are fine
Not cut but should be fine
Another 5" card set.
Here is another, 1 5" fancy edge card, 1 set of round nesting shape and 1 set of square nesting shapes.
To convert to GSD download this file, open in Inkscape then Save As DXF.
Here is another fancy edge card set with 2 sets of nesting shapes.
to convert to GSD, open in Inkscape separate the shapes, Save As DXF, load into RoboMaster and save as GSD
Im getting brave now playing around more on inkscape but have not put a lot on as i dont think there good enough, but you have to start somewhere i suppose so here's another for you. Resize to how large you want them, I think this one would be nice with dimantie in the centre you decide love Carol x
Not cut but should be fine...someone may find a use for them
This edge was made from half a heart flipped. I tried using a Christmas tree but it looked dangerous:lol:
A set comprising - 1 card blank and 2 sets of nesting shapes.
i have just made these.please can someone make a screenshot for me?.thanks
Made from a Dingbat :)
Not cut but they should be fine.
They've been cut now and they're fine... the black and white are the cut ones although I don't know why they look bigger
just done these hope there usefull
I cut them on white card to make sure they were ok. I've uploaded a screenshot of them in colour becauseif if I layered and uploaded the white ones I cut they wouldn't show up very well hope that makes sense
I haven't cut these but the should be fine
Here is a flower circle made for you. I spent a couple of hours, making sure that the nodes were minimal, and should cut well. I wanted to share a file here, as some of the .gsd's offered here are beautiful and I wanted to share to be helpful.
Enjoy.
Pat
I haven't cut these but I can't see that they're would be any problems.
These cut fine if anyone can use them.

I've added a backing paper
Hi I back in 2008 when I first joined UK Scrappers I was playing around on here but then in the September my dad died, do not why it has taken so long to have a go at designing again but I am back and having discovered the new Studio software - thanks to the May Challenge - I have made some very simple nesties - thought I would share
I've been playing with Hawaiian Quilts and made some nesting shapes. The photo is of the smallest of the layers which measures 2.267" and is cut from Bazzill card.
HA! make this with a border punch then :P
I used the same design element I used for the fancy border I uploaded yesterday, but applied it to a circle. Made in Inkscape, saved as DXF, opened in Studio and re-saved as Studio.
I did a test cut using 250 card of the smallest size which is about 2½" and it cut OK, but was so delicate I tore a couple of the curves because I wasn't really looking what I was doing
I would say use a lighter card and for the 2 smaller shapes break it apart and delete those very tiny triangles around the inside as they are too small to cut, but they will cut on the larger sizes.
Hope these will be useful to someone.
