a cameo of a pretty lady with an oval to be cut in a different colour to layer her on.
Hi there
No overly exciting but attached is an edwardian ladies head in hat sillouhette which I thought would be nice. I am cutting in black and then matting onto a white card which I will upload when I have finished and put on computer (and done all the fiddly bits to make it the right size!!).
Hope you like it and someone can get some use from it.

I found the following on this site http://karenswhimsy.com/
Karen says "These Girl Silhouettes come from a variety of old books and magazines; they are in the public domain. Enjoy!" She has a lot of public domain graphics.
I hope you enjoy my cutting version. I will try to produce some more.
Another silouette
This silhouette is slightly different because of the cut outs within the design
I'm feeling a bit scared as this is only my second post here. Having read tutorial about tracing, I've traced and converted an image I made for my school's production of Thoroughly Modern Mille. Just hoping I've done it right!

Here is a silhouette of ballroom dancers. I am making a fun card for my nephew going to use this and goodness knows what else.
Tried to do a mat in inkscake but couldn't figure it out.

Just been looking though templates for something else when I came accross my template - except it was not done by me it was done by Sally-Anne. We have obviously used the same picture.
Was not copying you - honest!!

Lovely have done a mat for you hope this is ok.

I have used a lot of templates from you wonderful ladies and would like to now post my first template. Hope you find it useful.

Here is another template of a Lady in a large hat. I have cut it, and it looks nice, but I did it on thick card and it needed a bit of pushing to get the little tiny pieces out. So I advise using a thin to medium card.
I used this on a friends card. Maybe someone can use it.
Autotraced in RM 5.1 but I have put it thru Brians Converter.
Here's one done from a photo of JoJo my grandchild. Problem is I have very few photos to choose from of her profile. As she is a bit far away to nip over and take a suitable picture, I've had to make do.
I've done a simple frame to go round the cutting which someone may find useful.

It's nothing particularly earth shattering I'm afraid, but I've finally plucked up the courage to have a go at my very first challenge.
This is only the 2nd template I've made myself, so I hope it's OK. It's just head shots of Mum & Me.

At last I've managed a contribution to this month's challenge! I've trawled through my photos and found one of my granddaughter's prom photos which is partially profile - surprising how few photos are profiles!

here is my contribution, my grand-daughter
Girl with umbrella :)
This is from a very old family heritage photo, it's a shame there were no lovely hats involved :(
Hi this is the first time I have done anything like this, or posted anything.
I really enjoyed it, and went by the earlier tutorial. thanks
this small girl is actually pulling a small toy
This is one of me and my mum, taken many moons ago. It would be a challange for her to lift me like that again... as I'm now 9inches taller than her and have more stones than a river bed now!!!
 Sharon
I should all this one The Shell Seekers, my granddaughter and d-i-law on the beach.

I found a lovely ding called Fashion Ladies - needed loads of tweaking to adapt them for cutting. These are the most successful so far. Black and white layers cut from 160gsm smooth paper, nose & mouth details added with felt tip. The only sane way to adhere the black layer is with spray glue!!
I hope they're of use to someone

Hi all,
Finally managed to get some time to play with DM and managed to make this 3D topper using the letter f from the fancy hats dingbats. Sorry i can't share the card as it's one i purchased, sorry for pic quality my batteries needed charging. Have converted to GSd but don't know how it cuts as i cut sample from DM which cuts nice and smoothly
With thanks to Janine for pointing me to the correct font. This one is the letter "z" from WWFancy Hats.
I designed it in Inkscape and converted it to gsd in ROBO Master. Some of it does take a long time to cut.
I thought I would try a variation on the Wedgewood Cameo with this one. The picture is not very good as you can see that I did not stick it down to the backing. I am toying with a silver rather than gold frame too.
I hope I have done this right my first template
Dingbat font used "Fancy Hats"

Beryl needed ArtDeco female silhouettes, here is a selection of 'Female Silhouettes' depending on what size you want some may need cleaning up a little,
The full selection of 41 different silhouettes is available as a free download from AllSilhouettes. The folder contains an SVG version so can be opened with Inkscape and re-saved or opened in StudioDE.
