My first attempt at an edge word. Thanks to Susibi for her expert advice on how to do it.
Hi all,
Have been working hard to make this one. I am fascinated by pop-up cards, so thought I'd have a go.
The centre is cut from 160gsm card and the stuck onto a heavier weight. It's a bit fiddly to do the folds, but patience triumphs as you see. It is sized to fit 2 cards on an A4 page and then mounted onto a A6 card.
Thought it might be useful for all sorts of occasions.
Hope you like my efforts.
Tired but happy
Erika
Hi all
Would like to share my 3 fold with love template its amazing what you can do when you sit and play with your CR.
Hope you like
Sam
You could use this for an anniversary (as I have done on the card) or for Valentines Day.
Using Robyn's technique:
( made the heart shaped frames in Inkscape by drawing two elipses, positioning them to make a heart shape, then Path>Union Ctrl D Path>Outset
Path>Exclusion)
This card was made through Inkscape and it's quite a fiddly method but the basics are the same
Have included how to pix.
This size template will fit a DL card if cut as is. Can be ungrouped and the outside rectangle resized.

Hres the template you asked me for, ive been busy and kept forgetting sorry!
if it wont open drop it into wishaway
Hi, This is my first post but I thought I should give something back to the forum. I know these valentines files are a bit late but you can save them for next year if you like them. :)
Heart Lattice card.
I think the landscape one needs to come a bit further down but I think a greeting or verse could be put on the insert by the heart - feel free to change it further down if need be. looking forward to seeing some cards made with these
best regards

With thanks to Dover Publications.
Hi
This is my first attempt at posting on this forum so I hope I'm doing it right and it turns up in the right place!! I joined the forum a while ago but this is the first thing I've made which I think is worth sharing. Hope you like it.
this is my first card template hope you like it, I have used gf's flower spray to embellish
another heart card,
THIS IS MY FIRST LATTICE WORK I HAVE EVER DONE I USED INKSCAPE TO DO IT HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT:rolleyes:
May be suitable for valentines day
another heart card this time in portrait, ribbon has been cut from sliver paper and threaded through, card has been embossed and adhesive gems attached
Thought this might be suitable for a Valentine or Anniversary card. I used a medium weight card - not as thick as hammered. I've also done a popup version (only my 2nd attempt at one so don't expect too much !!) if you want to have a look here
This is my first post - I hope you like it. I have used it as a topper and also enlarged it and used it to form the whole of the front of a card. As I cut it on quite thin card I placed a red card behind it. Will upload photo when finished - but for now here is the robo template.
Hope this photo and additional template upload OK.
p.s. thankyou to everyone who shares on this site I have had my robo about a year now and used a lot of templates from this site which has given me the confidence to try my own.

I forgot to take a photo of the cards I made with this template before I took them off to the shop that sells my cards, but this may be of some use to someone. It is sized to cut out of a ready cut 13.5cm card blank.

Sorry forgotten the font name for the text, but you can add your own.
I made the original template in Designmaster and have converted to a GSD. The heart in the picture was cut from DM. I have included inner mats as well, if you use these just cut of the flaps as the inner sits inside better without. You can put anything you like in the pocket from flowers to messages. I have made them quite small in the templates to fit them in but easy to resize to what you need. The card in the picture is A5 size. Thanks to Shirley Anne for the Happy Birthday words
Lynne
This is my first popup template.
The dotted lines were originally yellow (they still show in the cutline settings) but I changed them to black to make them easier to see.
May be of use to someone
Been playing with layers again! This is a 3 layer topper, great for those ‘last minute’ cards as it is so quick and easy to assemble. I won’t confuse you (and me) by trying to explain it :D hopefully the attached pictures will make it clear.:rolleyes::):D
Hope someone will find it useful.

I was asked to re-upload these, so here they are.
and here's the pic I took of the card I made for my Mum's birthday last week.
Hiya
Had started doing the original tut yesterday so had a bit of a headstart on this one. Finished the tut and then did this:
Font was Teen and I made the heart with two circles and a triangle.
I havent cut it but coloured the sections different colours. Little confused why the letters are all the same colour as they are not all on the same layer! I know - I think its cos they are small and the outline is red so guess you cant see the colour inside. Looks ghastly with the colours but hey!
Have attached the file for a look-see! When you go into it you need to zoom out or in (whichever way round it works) as the third layer is off to the right!

:thanks:
I am playing with making Broderie Anglaise patterns at the moment. This is one of them. I hope you will find it useful. Scrappers might also find the mat useful if enlarged.
The font is Brush-script downloadable from here
Hope this will be of use. I actually cut out two one of which I cut in half then cut it again so that I could Cuttlebug the top half with Swiss Dots and the bottom half with Stylized Flowers and also a separate bit along the bottom Cuttlebugged with one of the new borders from the With Love selection folders.

You could use on lay outs or cards if you made smaller, extra letters for layers.
Font is black rose

Here's my contribution to Erica's challenge. Made as a card but can be adjusted to make a layout. I used cherokee font.

This is my first entry into any of the challenges. But I have been dreaming Robo lately. I have a friend who lives in the US. She has no family over there and is desperate to come live with us in UK. I thought this card would be nice for her. The colours are rubbish but I was desperate to see how it cut. The oceans will of course be blue on the real one. I was pleased with it anyway for a novice.
Done in 5.1 so I have put it thru Brians converter.
Here's something from me. It can be used as either a card topper or a LO element.
Notes:
* Created in v4.0
* All elements in the GSD file have been grouped.
* Not yet cut out - please let me know if there are any issues.
* I've designed it so that the smaller bracket shape mat and L.O.V.E. letters are to be cut as one element and layered on top of the bigger bracket shape with the hearts and leaves. Hope that makes sense.
* Font is Amaze Bold. Heart from Hearts Galore dingbat and leaves from WWDesign dingbat. Bracket shape drawn from circles and a square welded together!
(Search terms: love, topper, hearts)
Enjoy!
Sorry I only put the picture on show for the above post, its not one I am sharing Sorry to all.
I have also made this And another is on its way sorry fr screen shot camera charging.
this is for Layouts mostly
Here's the last one I do hope you can use its cuts just fine as you can see by the photo
Such beautiful designs Tina, :thanks: for sharing them.
Thanks also to Erika for this month's Challenge. My entry includes the word 'love' using folded text. The font is Book Antiqua, but some of the letters, especially the 'u' needed a bit of tweaking to make them work. Hope they might be useful to someone, maybe for Valentine's Day?
I've uploaded the complete card template in a zipped file, and a GSD file with just the words on their own. HTH. :)
.
This is another for valentines day
I am sure someone will use.
Font is madfont and free
My files are for personal use only please
Erika, this is a wonderful challenge. Thank you everyone for your lovely entries.
I cut this file out of three papers, white light card stock and two decorative papers. It gave me lots of combinations to make several cards for my children and spouse. Because the lettering is thin in a few places, I changed my speed to 4.
Thanks Erika, it was fun sorting through ideas. I have a couple of others in the works, but with Christmas, they will not get finished in time to share for this challenge. One can not have enough LOVE.
Not very fancy but may be useful
This is my effort for the challenge. The font in Victorian - another free one I think. Don't know if it shows very well in the photo but the hearts twist - perhaps useful for Valentine's day.
