My daughter needed a thank you card for a colleague so I designed this "broderie anglais" card for her. It was cut in centura pearl and the backing mats were cut in adorable scorable. I spent an age poking out the bits but I think it was worth the effort.

Gorgeous card and lovely colourways too. Can i ask how you manage to get a good cut with centura pearl ? Because that's quite thick card and i really struggle with thicker card.

I don't always manage a good cut, hence the amount of time I spend poking out the bits! For centura pearl I have the blade set on 6 with a thickness of 33 and set to a double cut. It can be so frustrating when you can't achieve a good cut and it is always a matter of trial and error. Although I have used centura pearl for this particular cut I do find that the best thickness of card to cut an intricate design is 160 gsm.Quote:
