Hi all
Here is my very first go at making my own template. It is a 'fancy edge' photo frame which fits neatly over a 6" x 4" photo - but can easily be scaled up or down as required.
Hope it's useful to some of you.

Hi I saw card something similar to this a few weeks ago and thought I can do that on my little friend Robbie.
So here it is it isn't brilliant but I have enjoyed doing it. The fancy corners are decorated with the dashed line design.
Have cut it works lovely will put up a piccy later just have to find my camera
design using DM, Comqueror card pink dea and decorated with ribbon roses and bows
Hope this is of use to someone. It can be matted and layered by cutting out the separate colours. I just noticed Lucille had uploaded a scolloped shape. Sorry for being a copy cat!
Chris
Time for some more frames...
Enjoy

How about this? I was inspired from a TV program where someone had cut a big circle pattern on a field.

I'll never get tired of flowers. Hope you like them.

I have posted this before but apparently it didn't open, so I have re-saved it. Hope it is useful to soemone.
BTW Thanks to all who have posted such fabulous templates lately. I haven't had a play with poor Robo for ages, but you are all very inspiring! Thanks again. Carol xx
I have been playing again and came up with this. Hope you like them.

I just recently designed this for my Pazzles for a wedding card I was making and I have converted it to a GSD file so that I can share it with y'all. It is sized for an A7 card, but you can resize to fit the size of your project.
I hope someone can use it!
Enjoy, Pam
It was a while since I last posted here. I've been so busy with so much other things.
I don't recommend to cut these frames smaller than in the files. Hope you like them.
Monica
Hope someone can use this.:)

I have been on holiday for two weeks, but now I'm back again.

Another for you
Here you go Skye! Hope this is what you want.
Dingbats used: MusicSymbols
All items grouped.
Made in v4.4.
Not tested, so hope it cuts okay!
Having a long overdue dabble in scrapbooking. This frame was done in DM and takes a 5 x 7 photo. I have converted to GSD using the PDF method. I hope the GSD is OK as I have only cut the GRA file.
1976 seems a long time ago now so my "little angel face" is not quite so angelic anymore!!!

These frames you can cut quite small if you want. I have made several different shapes with these and will post more of them later.

Same as before but different.

This is the last one.
Here is a couple of frames I made about a week ago. As usual you can choose if you want to cut them as frames or mats. Just untick the red lines in the cut menu if you want to cut them as mats.

Here's a contribution to the challenge. I made this mat using the lower case letter d of Floralia. I changed the text to graphics and then broke the path so that I could weld the two top units together and then made it into a mat.
Care and patience is needed when removing from the carrier sheet as it's a bit delicate.
By the way, those rather dirty spots on mat must be on the glass of my scanner - must give that a clean!!

Cut from paper for matting onto an C6 card (if that's the right size of a half A5!).
Well.. Supposed to be working the last few days but Keep getting bored so decided to make a few frames.. Or you could ungroup them and take the inside bit out etc..
Here's my first example of a frame:
* Made in Illustrator, converted to GSD in RM4.4
* Both frames are sized to fit on an A6 card.
* A large flower has been added for you to either cut from the frame or add it separately as an embellishment.
Note: Flowers were created from a border design in Illustrator so I can't credit them to anyone.
Great challenge Winnie and some lovely files already - here is my effort
Shirley
Some lovely files on here already, TYFS everyone.
Here's a frame I did for my daughter's scrapbook. The golfer is SOOOO delicate so care is needed lifting him off the CS

Not sure if these two qualify as frames?? Let me know please....:comp::)
speaks for its self
Here's my 2nd offering, will do better with the next effort....:blink::blink: Blades are giving up the ghost at the moment hence no test cut and sample....Sorreee...
Here's my 3rd offering and this time I did it in Inkscape first and the rest.....:comp::comp::):):)
The design is different from the Inkscape adaptation, so I've included the original Jpeg and the cutting file has been changed slightly after cutting.......
I gave up with my original frame and did one for DIY Fans instead. Would fit on an A5 portrait card. I'm no good with screen shots, so maybe someone could do it for me please? I've tried King Kong Capture, but can't find it even after saving to desktop!
It's the first time I've tried something like this on my ROBO (apart from the one that didn't work), so if anyone spots a problem or easier way of doing it, please let me know
:thanks:

Here's another frame I did for my new nephew.
* Made in Illustrator, converted to GSD in RM4.4
* Sized to fit landscape A6 card
* I haven't included the letter blocks in the middle, but for my card I used BabyBlocks font which is available from Dafont.
* I've coloured the example in blue, but the rocking horse and teddy are quite unisex images so the frame can be used for either a girl or boy.
